Maybe use a quote or something to grab readers attention in your thesis statement, other than that your thesis statement seems clear and to the point.

Room for images/ video examples can also help expand the paper. I think a lot of us have been primarily focused on getting the text down and have lost the sight that we can use these examples.

You did a good job on flowing in order of your thesis statement. Maybe add a few more connector sentences.

I definitely agree that when forming a theory of writing we really should understand Rhetorical situation. You could possibly expand on this.
